Today in our Humans of TMRW series, we meet Ian Tyler. The one-man Graphic Design band behind Fifty Fathoms.
1. 𝗜𝗻 𝗮 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 is Fifty Fathoms?
Fifty Fathoms is a design, illustration and branding consultancy I set up in 2012 after 10 years as designer in the
media and creative industries. We work with businesses and organisations of all sizes, across print and digital creative projects. This could involve, amongst other things, bespoke illustration for brands or editorial commissions, beautiful info-graphics for businesses on social media, visually engaging slide presentations for pitches and conferences, or fresh and distinctive brand identities for startups and established organisations.
2. 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿
With the end of the year approaching, branching out into offering some personalised products, such as a Fifty Fathoms notebook design than can be customised for other companies. Continuing to exhibit at shows and events which was a new idea for this year, the next one being Business Live 2019 on 16th October, Fairfield Halls. Decide on three things for next year instead of two.
3. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗠𝗥𝗪?
The community - members are always happy to share knowledge and skills, and it's always interesting to find out what other TMRWers are up to.
